Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a weekly column that explores what one can buy for a set dollar amount in various NYC neighborhoods. Is one man’s studio another man’s townhouse? Let’s find out! Today, we’re looking at apartments for sale for around $575,000.

This co-op studio in Chelsea is asking $585,000. It has one bathroom, hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, a Murphy bed, and large windows that let plenty of light in. The building allows both cats and dogs, and has a laundry room, a pool, and a roof deck. Maintenance charges mount to $1,601/month. It’s located on West 23rd Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues, steps from the High Line and near the A, C, and E trains at 23rd Street.

The building allows cats and dogs and has a roof deck, a bike room, and a gym. Maintenance charges are $2,067/month. It’s located on East 74th Street between First and Second avenues, near the Q train at 72nd Street.

Maintenance charges mount to $1,144/month. It’s located on West 12th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues, mere steps from the F, L, and M trains at 14th Street.

Maintenance charges area $1,898/month. It’s located on East 48th Street between Second and Third Avenues, near Grand Central and its transit hub.

The building allows both cats and dogs and has a laundry room, a common roof deck, and garden. It’s located on West 44th Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues, near Hell’s Kitchen Park and the transit hub at 42nd Street-Port Authority.
