Big reveal: $999K for a minimalist Kips Bay condo

The guesses for this week’s Pricespotter apartment, a one-bedroom condo in Kips Bay, were all over the place: Some commenters thought it might be asking as little as $595,000, and others guessed as high as just under $1 million.

And ultimately, the highest guesses were closer to the actual asking price: Rami Rabayah got it right with a guess of $999,000.

The one-bedroom apartment has a minimalist look (white kitchen cabinets, a warm wood island, sliding glass doors between the living room and bedroom) and large windows that let light in. It’s not particularly large—the listing estimates around 650 square feet—but the kitchen has lots of storage space, and there’s a walk-in closet along with a spacious bathroom.

The apartment is located at 303 East 33rd Street on the corner of Second Avenue, close to Kips Bay’s shopping center with a Fairway, movie theater, and other conveniences. It’s listed with Jeff Gardner of Corcoran.
