Welcome back to The Six-Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

Lately, on this column, we’ve featured apartments with fireplaces, built-in bookshelves, and terraces; and all under $1 million. This proves that these add-ons are not necessarily reserved for pricey apartments.

And here’s another example; this Chelsea one-bedroom co-op that just listed has some of those features (plus, a lot of character) and it’s asking $599,000.

The chic unit has 10-foot ceilings and multiple windows that allow plenty of light in and make it feel more spacious than it seems. It has one bathroom, four closets, a decorative fireplace, dark hardwood floors, and white built-in bookshelves.

It’s located inside a five-story building with a common laundry room, at 250 West 21st Street, between Seventh and Eighth avenues, near the 1 train at 23rd Street. The High Line is a 10-minute walk away. Maintenance charges are $980/month.

David Margolies, Dylan Hoffman, and Andrew Corso of Compass have the listing.
