A few places worth peeking at if you’re looking to buy in the neighborhood

Welcome to Curbed NY’s Open House Tour, because who doesn’t love a little real estate gawking? This time around, we’re looking at what’s on the market on the Lower East Side.

This weekend, you could peek inside this very cute one-bedroom co-op on Grand Street. It has a renovated kitchen, a relatively large living room, a dishwasher, and four closets (one of them a walk-in). It sits inside a building that has a gym, a common laundry room, and a bike room. The price tag? $779,000, with maintenance charges coming in at $724/month.

On Bowery, this 1,605-square-foot condo loft is also holding an open house this weekend. Some of its perks: It has a walk-in closet, its own laundry room, a dishwasher, and it’s accessed through a private keyed elevator. The cute property is going for $2.175 million, with monthly taxes at $578/month and common charges at $956/month.

Also opening its doors this weekend is this modern two-bedroom condo on Ludlow Street. The 1,069-square-foot apartment is bright, thanks to its large windows, and comes with two bathrooms, a large living room area, in-unit washer/dryer, and a Juliet balcony. It’s accessed through a private keyed elevator. It’s asking $2.05 million, with taxes coming in at $636/month and common charges $1,128/month.

On Sunday, see inside this compact (but cute) co-op studio on East Broadway. It comes with four closets, bamboo floors, a renovated kitchen, a dressing room, and a dishwasher. The building has plenty of amenities including a gym, a common laundry room, and two parks. It’s also located near Seward Park and the F train at East Broadway. It’s asking $519,000, with $463/month for maintenance charges.

And last, but certainly, not least, you could also see inside this duplex two-bedroom unit on East Houston. The 1,382-square-foot condo unit has two and a half bathrooms, a dishwasher, in-unit washer/dryer, a terrace, and a massive private landscaped backyard. The airy apartment has 10-foot ceilings and oak floors. It’s asking $2.565 million, with taxes at $1,041/month and common charges $1,480/month.
