Prospect-Lefferts Gardens is one of those NYC neighborhoods that offers a ton of variety when it comes to home prices and styles. There are historic Colonial Revival houses, but also many cute co-ops and condo units asking under $1 million. An example of the latter is this one-bedroom co-op on Lefferts Avenue that has just listed for $575,000.

Located just outside the Prospect-Lefferts Gardens Historic District, the 850-square-foot unit has a spacious living room, six closets, and five windows. It comes with several details that add to its prewar charm, like iron rails, crown moldings, arched entryways, and a sunken living room. The bathroom is particularly interesting, as it has a red bathtub and a colorful floral ceiling.

The building is pet-friendly and has an elevator and a common laundry room. Maintenance charges come in at $918/month. Joanna Mayfield Marks of Halstead has the listing.
