A few places worth peeking at if you’re looking to buy in the neighborhood—and all under $1 million

Welcome to Curbed NY’s Open House Tour, because who doesn’t love a little real estate gawking? This time around, we’re looking at what’s on the market in Jackson Heights.

This charming and spacious two-bedroom co-op on 79th Street is opening its doors this weekend. The unit has pretty interior touches like arched entryways, plus hardwood floors and high ceilings. There’s a large living room, an eat-in kitchen with Caesarstone counters, a dishwasher, and four closets. It’s inside a Neo-Georgian structure that’s in the neighborhood’s historic district. It’s asking $550,000, with maintenance charges at $1,030/month.

A two-bedroom co-op on 82nd Street comes with elegant touches like crown moldings and chandeliers. It has a large living room, a separate dining area, and three closets. It sits within a Neo-Georgian-style building (part of the Jackson Heights Historic District) built between 1915 and 1916, which has its own bike room, courtyard, and laundry room.It’s asking $585,000, with monthlies coming in at $717.

You could also peek inside this posh two-bedroom co-op on 80th Street, which has a spacious living area, large windows, a fireplace, and hardwood floors. It’s located in the Chateau, a French Renaissance-style building dating back to 1922 that’s part of the Jackson Heights Historic District. That building has its own laundry room, bike storage, and a garden. It’s asking $775,000, with the maintenance bill coming in at $981/month.

On 35th Avenue, this 1,000-square-foot one-bedroom condo has lots of nice details including exposed brick and wood trim, along with a spacious living area and a walk-in closet. It sits within a six-story building that has a laundry room, a bike room, and a gym. It’s asking $639,000, with taxes at $194/month and common charges at $480/month.

And, finally, on 87th Street, this roomy one-bedroom co-op is also opening its doors on the weekend. It has a living area, three closets, and hardwood floors. It sits within a building that has a common laundry room and has a bike room. It’s on the market for $398,500, with monthlies at $643.
