Big reveal: $1.299M for a bright Kips Bay co-op with two balconies

This week’s Pricespotter was definitely a tough one; but two commenters came very close to guessing the exact asking price.

The unit is asking $1.299 million, and according to The Price Is Right rules—the closest guess without going over—acfs is the winner. But kkligerman also came close with a guess of $1.3 million.

As we said before, the two-bedroom, 1,000-square-foot Kips Bay apartment has two balconies, built-in storage space, an alcove with a Murphy bed, and was renovated by a noted architect. It also comes with a dishwasher, a spacious living room, and three closets. One of the downsides is that the monthlies are very high, at $3,296.

It’s located at 201 East 25th Street, between Second and Third avenues, near the 6 train at 23rd Street and a short walk to Madison Square Park. Mary Barbrack of Compass has the listing.
