As promised, big Upper East Side dealmaker Edgar Bronfman Jr. has officially listed his townhouse at 117 East 69th Street. The listing pics, sadly, don't give much of an impression of the mansion, formerly home to Muppets creator Jim Henson and his furry puppet-designing crew. But the Paula Del Nunzio-penned brokerbabble does tell us that the house was designed by Julius F. Gaylor for Beekman Winthrop, a descendant of several New England governors, and that it has a huge skylight and "spectacular garden." It's also got mixed-use zoning, so it could be a single-family home or a headquarters. All this for just $27.25 million, less, as the Real Deal notes, than Bronfman paid for it in 2008.
