The apartments that come up for sale at 169 Hudson Street are generally pretty nice, but it seems PH7N might be nicer than all the rest. The unit just came to market with the kind of price tag, $24,000,000, that demands an investigation into its features. The price and interior decor had us hoping for a celeb, but going by the name on the most recent sale recorded for PH78N, the owner is a finance guy.
That finance guy paid only ("only") $5,600,375 for the pad in 2004, which suggests there's been some customization done since. The brokerbabble describes some of it: "Custom designed and crafted walnut bookshelves and credenza, reclaimed barn wood floors, custom brass hinges and handles, antique lamps and lights throughout the loft; all convey the care and artistry that went into the meticulous construction." And then there's the "infinity pool, with a waterfall connected to a reflection pool." The listing photos don't give the most appealing view of this feature, so we're just hoping it's as lovely as it sounds.
