Christie’s held its auction of Joan Rivers’s personal collection yesterday, and as expected, it got quite a turnout. The auction’s more than 200 items netted, all told, $2.2 million; here's a recap of the most interesting items that sold.
Following Joan Rivers's September 2014 passing, the comedian's Upper East Side triplex was listed and sold for $28M. Many of the items that adorned the apartment are hitting the auction block in June. Lots include a silk pagoda dog bed and plates gifted by Vincent Price, because of course.
